Glenn Hines


Mr. Hines is an Aerospace Technologist in Electrical Engineering at the NASA Langley Research Center, located in Virginia. He is currently working on the Gas and Aerosol Monitoring Sensorcraft project, a revolutionary means for measuring and studying atmospheric chemistry and dynamics. Other projects which he has worked on since joining NASA in 1990 include the Spaceflight Optical Disk Recorder (SODR), the Jitter Attenuation and Dynamics Experiment (JADE), and the Recorder Interface Module (RIM) which flew on the Small Spacecraft Technology Initiative (SSTI) Lewis spacecraft in 1997.

Mr. Hines received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1987, and Masters of Science in 1991, both in Electrical Engineering and from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. While studying at Old Dominion, he performed as a teacher and research assistant, and was selected for a NASA summer internship and graduate scholarship.
